Robert Karpa, Wonderful Machine’s portrait photographer in Vancouver, BC, shot this image for TV Week, and we thought it was an appropriate way to welcome the holidays.
Karpa’s work has been featured in the pages of Men’s Journal, Rolling Stone, Time, Forbes, Seventeen and many others. He’s also been recognized by the Art Directors Club of Toronto, the International Photography Awards, the Canadian Magazine Awards, and more. By the way, TV Week highlights entertainment and television news. The two subjects of the image above, “The Shopping Bags”, happen to host a tv show offering shopping tips. For you last-minute shoppers, we noticed a few suggestions from their “10 Shopping Commandments”: “know what you need”, “keep your cool”, “be nice”, and “wear comfortable shoes”. Hope that helps.
