Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ben Weldon!

Many of our clients and photographers have worked with and gotten to know our producer Ben Weldon over the years, so we’d like to share some happy news: earlier this month he married the love of his life Rose DeFinis at a beautiful outdoor ceremony in scenic Yardly, PA.
Over the last year, Ben has been carefully juggling the wedding planning with all the production and marketing duties he takes on at Wonderful Machine. Their honeymoon in Hawaii this week is definitely a just reward! Ever the promoter, Ben has been vigilantly updating his Facebook with photos and videos from their tropical getaway. If you’re fortunate enough to be Facebook friends with Ben, you can follow his astoundingly regular posts (isn’t the honeymoon supposed to be a time to get away from it all, Ben?).
You can read the charming story of how they met and fell in love on their beautifully designed wedding site, She Stole My Tables. (She really did steal his tables!)
Ben’s a modest guy, so I’ll share a little-know fact about him: he used to be the lead singer in a successful band called The Classic (find them on iTunes!), and they reunited for a one-night-only performance for the reception! Ben was in his element on stage, which was a fun glimpse into his pre-Wonderful Machine life. The most touching moment of the night had to be when he sang a mellow, acoustic version of “Sweet Child o’ Mine” during the father-daughter dance; needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Here’s a video of Ben singing:
Congratulations again, Ben and Rose! Thanks for letting us share your special day, and enjoy the rest of your honeymoon… because we all know that you’ll have a boatload of work to do when you get back!
