Katherine Schwarzenegger

The Schwarzeneggers have been getting quite a bit of attention lately. We’ve certainly been hearing a lot about Arnold and Maria and the scandalous affair that lead to their split. However, there’s a lot more to the Schwarzenegger clan than the recent controversy. In fact, there’s even more to the Schwarzeneggers than just Arnold and Maria—for instance, their eldest daughter and author, Katherine.

Katherine Schwarzenegger was recently the subject of an article in the Italian publication, Style magazine—a supplement for the national newspaper Corriere della Sera. Every month Style does a sexy shoot and article featuring a famous heiress, actress, model, or socialite. Katherine was chosen not only because she’s the daughter of the famous duo, but because she is the author of the book, “Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who’s Been There and Back,” a hybrid self help/memoir that aims to empower women.

Our Los Angeles photographer, Robert Gallgher was brought in to shoot Katherine for the assignment. I asked Robert to tell me about the shoot,

It turns out this all happened quite literally the weekend before all the news broke about Arnold and his apparent affair and love child. Of course, we were all shocked and surprised to hear the news, and in hindsight Katherine never showed any signs of being aware of it either. Either that, or she is in fact an amazing actress! On set she was great to work with, and so much fun. In fact, for someone who isn’t a professional model or actress, she was very natural to shoot, not at all awkward, especially for a somewhat revealing shoot like this. She is an accomplished author and public speaker, and her book ‘Rock What You’ve Got’ deals with women’s issues about empowerment and enjoying who you are, so I guess it is the perfect vehicle for her message. And she did indeed rock what she’s got.
