Fell in love with art in high school. Started carrying a camera every day. Luckily, his father worked
for Eastman Kodak in Tokyo (so he was never short of film). Moved to NYC in the 80′s. Opened a
studio in Tribeca. Still goes back to Japan each summer with his family to shoot personal work.

sights and sounds that take you out of your comfort zone. Thinks "unannounced moments often

Proud to be from "The Birthplace of the Slinky." Attended university in Greece. His professor was
one of Ansel Adam’s former assistants. He gave Matthew a set of keys to the school’s dark room.
After that, he was hooked. Currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.

Tom: 6′ 3", 205 pounds. Hobby: Shetland Pony racing. "Poor pony," he says. Competitive
swimmer in college. Says he’s spent the equivalent of over an entire year of his life (ie. 9,000
hours) in a pool. Has shot a lot of ultimate fighters recently, including the current world champ.

illustrator. Hails from Oxford, England, home of Radiohead. Experienced culture shock when

Faithful "deadhead", attended over 150 concerts back in the day. Was official photographer for
several rock festivals. Daughter’s baby book shows a lot of rock stars rubbing her pregnant tummy.

Glasgow, Scotland, born and bred. Started out in philosophy, somehow migrated to photography.
Shot for newspapers in the early 90′s. Now most of his commissions are portraits. He’s "daft" for
cycling. Says when he’s not working, he’s on his bike (a fixed gear at the moment).

Didn’t pursue photography until his senior year of college. Went back to school for commercial
photography, but had a true passion for photojournalism. Worked at Santa Fe Workshops, then
headed to Mexico. Now based in Baltimore, he’s pursuing a personal project on violent crime.
