Studied biology and chemistry in college. Then he bought a camera. Got inspired after reading
about Ansel Adams' life and work. Called him up, thus beginning a friendship. Landed a job
at the Chattanooga Times. Learned martial arts as a child from Master Bruce Lee.

Born in Virginia, but grew up as a sort of modern American nomad. By the time he entered college,
he had moved 23 times. Coolest place he's lived so far: Charleston, SC. Interests outside photo:
building wood furniture from reclaimed barn wood & building materials. Loves to tell stories.

Attended school in SF and Boston. Lived out of his car for a few months, traveling across the US.
On a whim, moved to Southeast Asia. Landed job hosting a travel show for six months, then was
an art director at a lifestyle magazine. Recently took part in the Long Bien Arts Festival in Hanoi.

Originally from Russia. Parents traveled everywhere with her when she was young. Grew to
appreciate other cultures. Played the violin for 7 years. Moved to US. Got a BA in Communications,
then attended New England School of Photography. Still loves to cook the food of her homeland.
